Working full time as a developer for the Pendleton’s women’s wear department I was able to use my technical skills and experience to monitor and analyze market trends. I worked with cross-functional teams and global manufacturers to determine seasonal financial projections and develop women’s knitwear and cut-and-sew knit lines from initial concept and proper fabric construction, to the final ready-to-wear product to include:

  • Completed technical packages/specification sheets and evaluating samples to ensure alignment with testing, construction, grading/tolerances and safety specifications—resolving all construction issues.
  • Recommending new silhouette fits with Design team on pre-season pattern blocks, conducted fit sessions, and making detailed recommendations for corrections.
  • Project management and technical writing for product development and garment construction to include communication with manufacturers and design approval for final garment construction.
